Finally complete… I think…
Group Exhibition, opening Wed. May 25 at 19:30
Skizza Gallery, 8 Koresh St. Jerusalem.
Curator, Marina Schelest.

Last week I had a few hours of pure pleasure at the Ohel Shalom school in Gedera.
Beginning with a short introduction to my work, we moved on to discussing the relationship between the objects and background in a painting. And to working in layers.
Concepts that may take hours when I teach adults, were absorbed so intuitively and applied. The kids paintings were truly amazing. Third, fourth and fifth grades.

What a wonderful group of artists!
Lead by our talented curator, Elhai Solomon of the far left.
Oil 110/100 cm. Like so many of my recent paintings, this one began in dialogue with earlier paintings partially hidden below.

Sumi ink and gouache on paper 36/51 cm.
As I painted this, I began to feel something wrong. Omicron (Covid 19) Fortunately, we both had very mild cases. BUT it didn’t detract from my creative concentration.
